Originally from Three Islands, (L’Ardoise), Cape Breton Island, Hank Middleton is a retired teacher and principal who lives in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. He has written and arranged music for a number of theatrical productions by the South Shore Players and is one of the principal script and songwriters for the summer production, “Glimpses” which runs each summer in the theatre at the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic in Lunenburg. He also arranges and provides the music for that show.
Hank currently plays lead guitar with the Cattail Ridge Band and guitar and bass with the bilingual group, Collage, for which he is also the principal songwriter. As well, he plays and jams with a number of individuals from the South Shore, many who appear on his recent CD.
