Blues banjo - Steve "hit the Big Time" when he became a regular member of Jerry Jeff Walker's Lost Gonzo Band; soon after, he was a longtime sideman and songwriter for Mason Williams; a fill-in sideman for David Bromberg; also appearing as guest fiddler at many large concert venues with Willie Nelson, Leon Russell, Tracy Nelson; Guy Clarke; Townes Van Zandt; Jimmy Buffet and many others - Get ready for a man of many voices. Steve's singing covers a range of styles from Johnny Cash to New Orleans blues. A seasoned performer and songwriter, Steve draws upon an unusually diverse background of experience: From the clubs of New Orleans to the mountains of Virginia, and on to salty Nova Scotia comes the music of Steve.
