Hank is an prolific songwriter and musician who hails from Cape Breton but has made the South Shore home for 45 years. Influenced by writers such as Stan Rodgers, Gordon Lightfoot, the Beatles and Rhythm and Blues artists, Hank likes to write and perform songs with stories and messages. His love of the east coast, its people and its history is strongly reflected in his music.
Hank has written 5 musicals for Nova Scotia Schools and is perhaps best know as co-writer, performer and arranger for the “Glimpses” show. He produced three CDs: the first “Scenes of Home” with Collage as well as “Middletunes” and “Middletunes II: Messages” with family and friends. Performing in both English and French, Hank will be joined by many of those friends including members of Collage and Celtic Eclectic. Hank is presently working on his next CD, “Songs in the Key of Sea”. Come out and enjoy Hank’s “kitchen party”.
