Jamie was given his first guitar at 9 and right away started to write songs. Skip ahead 10 years and he has quit the navy (after 3 years sailing the pacific) and moved to Vancouver becoming a part of that vibrant music scene playing in multiple bands including BOB'S YOUR UNCLE and sharing stages with the likes of JJ Cale, Tragically Hip, Los Lobos, Trooper and Blue Rodeo. During this time he toured Canada, the States and Europe.
After 20 years, Jamie moved home to Nova Scotia, got married to Barb and headed to China to meet their daughter, Sadie. Jamie continues to write, perform and teach music. He has produced over 30 cds for himself and other artists.
